I wanted to hire a Hilux for driving in rough roads in Zimbabwe for 16 days. Starting Harare, to the Eastern Highlands, across the Great Zimbabwe, the difficult tracks in Matobos, the awful A8 to Hwange, to Victoria Falls for pick-up. The prices quoted by most companies like Avis Hertz etc are crazy - the highest in the world, and I have driven in many countries. Yarutso were not cheap but more reasonable. Viktor was very responsible and the communication was excellent. They were completely reliable. They have a small office in central Harare where you go to pay and that worked out fine. The car was maintained sufficiently and it did what we wanted it to do. The pickup worked as planned. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others. Ian from London UK ~ IanJames D
I did a lot of research on car rental companies for my two week road trip in Zimbabwe in FEB26. I decided to go with Yarutso Car Rental based on the very positive reviews from previous renters. It was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive rental, but the Hyundai Tuscon was just right for our party of four with four cases. I was a little concerned with paying for the full rental upfront in order to secure the reservation, but I needn’t have been. The car was delivered by Honest to our home in Harare as requested, was a pleasure to drive on the Zimbabwean roads with sufficient ground clearance for some of worst dirt roads, and was picked up at Harare airport as arranged. I highly recommend Yarutso Car Rental based on great service, reasonable price and an excellent vehicle. ~ Graham G
I am a frequent user of Yarutso car rental when I visit Zimbabwe. I initially booked the smallest economy car available but the team informed me as a frequent client I could get an upgrade to a mid-size SUV at no extra cost . Here is how this upgrade made my trip even better : 1. comfort - the SUV provided more space for my luggage and family. 2. Safety- the larger vehicle felt more secure, especially on highways and winding roads . 3. Features - i enjoyed the extra features like gps, bluetooth connectivity, a spacious trunk and better visibility. This unexpected upgrade added a touch of luxury to my trip .
